The Mogao Caves

A Wall Painting from the Mogao Caves from the Sui Dynasty (581 - 618) in China.  The Mogao Caves are located in Dunhuang, Central China along the old Silk Road and contain some of the finest and oldest illustrations of ancient Chinese life, including many of swimming.  This drawing is from cave 420.
