The International Swimming Hall of Fame's film and video archive, which dates to the 1920's, is the most extensive and comprehensive in the world. As we continue to preserve and transfer footage from film to DVD, we will be adding to the virtual archive so that historic events from aquatic history can be enjoyed throughout the world.
Carlo Dibiasi was Italy's greatest diver in the 1930's, 1940's and 1950's. In the aftermath of World War II, Carlo had the distinction of representing three different countries in the Olympic Games. When he retired from competition he went on to coach his Hall of Fame son, Klaus, winner of three consecutive Olympic platform diving titles.
